"Any character can be placed anywhere for the sake of the story, and fictional locations can also be incorporated."

🌟 Place in the story ✒ 

It is impossible to write a story without space. Because, to make the events of the story happen, it will not take any. 

But there are two types of places in the story. The first place is real. 

The existence of this place will be real, but the events of the story will be fictional. In the case of such places, even if the events are fictional, the geographical description of the reality should be properly described.(170)Geography and the literature.  For example:- In my different stories real places like, Akhaura, Teknaf, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, India, Afghanistan, Italy, Sylhet, Jokiganj etc. are mentioned. 

Another place in the story is completely imaginary. This place does not exist in reality. But the author describes the fictional place in his own way and narrated the incident.

For example:- I have mentioned a place called Kokil Char in my story, "Incident in shrine". Basically, there is no place with this name in Akhaura of Brahmanbaria. Also, in another story of mine I have mentioned a fictional place called Kuttadanga. 

🌟 Time ✒ 

Time is a significant factor in stories. Because, many events happen in accordance with the time. Therefore, events have to be narrated in accordance with the time. 

But the story will not be perfect if it is not agreeing with the time. For example:- Richard Nixon was the president of the USA in 1971. But in this case, if someone writes in the story, Barack Obama. Then it won't be perfect. 

🌟 Characters in the story ✒ 

The author writes the story through his imagination and reality. 

And added various characters to perfect the story. 

However occasionally the same character has to be active in different places for the sake of the story. 

For example:- I have shown my character Colonel Bachchu in the first three RAB stories that he is the branch in charge of Teknaf RAB camp in Cox's Bazar. 

However in the fourth story, "Incident in shrine", I have shown that he is the branch in charge of RAB camp in Akhaura, Brahmanbaria. 

I did it for the sake of the story. Because otherwise I would have to add a fictional officer for each RAB camp in each story. 

And not to do that, in the fourth story of RAB, I showed Colonel Bachchu as the branch in-charge of Akhaura. ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman

🌟 গল্পে স্থান ✒ 

স্থান ছাড়া গল্প লেখা অসম্ভব। কেননা,গল্পের ঘটনা সংঘটিত করার জন্য কোন লাগবেই।

কিন্তু গল্পে স্থান হচ্ছে দুই রকমের।প্রথম স্থানটি হচ্ছে,বাস্তব।এ স্থানের অস্তিত্ব বাস্তবে থাকবে, কিন্তু গল্পের ঘটনা হবে কাল্পনিক।এরকম স্থানের ক্ষেত্রে ঘটনা কাল্পনিক হলেও বাস্তবের ভৌগলিক বর্ণনা ঠিকভাবে বর্ণনা করা উচিত।(170)Geography and the literature. আবার গল্পের আরেকটা স্থান হচ্ছে একেবারেই কাল্পনিক।এ স্থানের অস্তিত্ব বাস্তবে নাই। কিন্তু লেখক নিজের মতো করে সেই কাল্পনিক স্থানের বর্ণনা করেন এবং ঘটনার অবতারণা ঘটান।যেমন:- আমার গল্প,"মাজারের ঘটনা"য় কোকিল চর নামক একটি স্থানের উল্লেখ করেছি। মূলত এ নামে ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়ার আখাউড়াতে কোন স্থানই নাই।তেমনি আমার আরেকটা গল্পে কুত্তাডাঙা নামক কাল্পনিক স্থানের উল্লেখ করেছি।

🌟 সময় ✒ 

গল্পে সময়কাল একটি উল্লেখযোগ্য বিষয়। কেননা, সময়ের সাথে তাল মিলিয়ে অনেক ঘটনা ঘটে।তাই সময়ের সাথে মিল রেখে ঘটনার অবতারণা করতে হয়।

কিন্তু সময়ের সাথে তাল মেলাতে না পারলে সেই গল্পটা পারফেক্ট হবে না।যেমন:- ১৯৭১ সালে ইউএসএর প্রেসিডেন্ট ছিলেন রিচার্ড নিক্সন। কিন্তু এক্ষেত্রে কেউ যদি গল্পে লেখেন,বারাক ওবামা। তাহলে সেটা পারফেক্ট হবে না।

🌟 গল্পে চরিত্র ✒ 

লেখক গল্প লিখেন নিজের কল্পনা আর বাস্তবতার মাধ্যমে।

আর গল্পকে পারফেক্ট করার জন্য বিভিন্ন চরিত্রের সংযোজন করেন।

কিন্তু অনেক সময় গল্পের খাতিরে একই চরিত্রকে বিভিন্ন স্থানে একটিভ করতে হয়।

যেমন:- আমার গল্পের চরিত্র কর্নেল বাচ্চুকে র‌্যাবের প্রথম তিনটা গল্পে আমি দেখিয়েছি যে,তিনি কক্সবাজারের টেকনাফ র‌্যাব ক্যাম্পের ব্রাঞ্চ ইনচার্জ।

কিন্তু চতুর্থ গল্পে অর্থাৎ, "মাজারের ঘটনা" গল্পে দেখিয়েছি যে, তিনি ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়ার আখাউড়ার র‌্যাব ক্যাম্পের ব্রাঞ্চ ইনচার্জ।

এটা আমি করেছি গল্পের খাতিরে। কেননা,এটা না করলে আমাকে প্রতিটা গল্পে র‌্যাব ক্যাম্পের জন্য একেকজন কাল্পনিক অফিসার  সংযোজন করতে হবে।

এবং এটা না করার জন্যই র‌্যাবের চতুর্থ গল্পে কর্নেল বাচ্চুকে আখাউড়ার ব্রাঞ্চ ইনচার্জ হিসেবে দেখিয়েছি। ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
